National Testing Agency (NTA) dwara aayojit UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) December 2025 ki taiyari ke liye ek vyavasthit (structured) aur do-mukhi (two-pronged) ran-neeti (strategy) ki zaroorat hai, kyunki ismein do papers hote hain: Paper-I (General) aur Paper-II (Subject Specific).
1. Zaruri Patrata aur Exam Details
Taiyari shuru karne se pehle, yeh zaruri jaankariyaan confirm kar lein:
| Criteria | Details |
| Educational Qualification (Shiksha) | Master’s Degree (Post Graduation) mein minimum 55% marks (General/EWS) ya 50% marks (OBC/SC/ST/PwD) hona zaruri hai. Jo candidates Master’s final year/semester mein hain, woh bhi apply kar sakte hain. |

2. Exam Pattern aur Marks Distribution
UGC NET computer-based test (CBT) format mein aayojit kiya jaata hai, jismein do papers hote hain. Dono papers ke liye ek hi session mein 3 ghante ka samay milta hai (Paper-I aur Paper-II ke beech koi break nahi hota).
| Paper | Section | No. of Questions | Marks | Duration |
| Paper-I | General Paper on Teaching & Research Aptitude | 50 | 100 | Total 3 Hours (Combined) |
| Paper-II | Subject Specific (Aapke PG Subject ka) | 100 | 200 | |
| Total | 150 | 300 | 3 Hours |
- Negative Marking: UGC NET mein koi negative marking nahi hoti hai, isliye sabhi 150 questions attempt karna zaroori hai.
3. Paper-I ki Taiyari (General Paper – 100 Marks)
Paper-I kaafi scoring hota hai aur yahi aapki rank aur JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) ki eligibility tay karta hai.
| Unit | Focus Areas | Taiyari Tips |

Goal: Paper-I mein 35 se 40 questions (70-80 marks) sahi karne ka target rakhein.
4. Paper-II ki Taiyari (Subject Specific – 200 Marks)
Paper-II aapke Post Graduation subject par aadharit hota hai. Yeh aapki core strength hai.
- Syllabus Analysis: Sabse pehle, Official UGC NET Syllabus (jo aapke subject ka hai) download karein. Poore syllabus ko chote-chote units mein baant lein.
- Standard Books: Apne subject ki standard reference books aur PG notes ka hi upyog karein. Exam ka level Master’s degree se kaafi upar hota hai.
- Conceptual Clarity: Sirf facts yaad karne ke bajaye concepts ko gehrayi se samajhna zaroori hai. Sawaal application based (vyavaharik) hote hain.
- Practice: Apne subject ke pichle 10 saalon ke question papers (Previous Year Papers – PYQs) ko zaroor solve karein. Isse aapko questions ke trend aur difficulty level ka idea milega.
5. Final Taiyari Tips aur Strategy
- Integrated Study: Paper-I aur Paper-II ko alag-alag na padhein. Daily schedule mein dono papers ko samay dein (jaise 3-4 ghante Paper-II aur 1-2 ghante Paper-I).
- Time Management: Kyunki dono papers lagatar 3 ghante ke hote hain, isliye practice karte samay bhi 150 questions ko 3 ghante mein solve karne ki aadat daalein.
- Revision: Taiyari ke akhri mahine (November aur December) ko sirf revision ke liye rakhein. Naye topics padhne se bachein.
- Mock Tests: Exam se 3-4 hafte pehle full-length mock tests dena shuru karein, taaki aap exam hall ke pressure ko handle kar sakein.
Final Goal: UGC NET qualify karne ke liye aapko Total 300 marks mein se category ke anusaar ek minimum cut-off score laana hota hai. JRF ke liye yeh cut-off kafi high jaati hai. Apni category aur subject ki pichli cut-off dekhkar apna target set karein. All the best! 👍
Kya aap apne Paper-II (Subject) ka naam bata sakte hain, taaki main uski taiyari ke liye aur specific jaankari de sakun?
